I want to challenge you to think about training differently.

 

When you’re working out, are you testing your limits? or are you expanding your limits?

When you test your limits you are having a confrontation with your nervous system. When you expand your limits you’re focused on building not testing. Training should be a conversation, not a confrontation with your nervous system. It means we don’t focus on attempting to raise your limits, we focus instead on raising your comfort zone until it surpasses your previous limits. It’s ALWAYS easier to expand your comfort zone than it is to force a limit.

We need to learn to take control of our body and you need to do it as if your life depended on it.

A weak body commands the mind, and a truly strong body can only be built by building a stronger mind.

My clients don’t want to be strong in some ways, they want to be strong in every way and I am not just referring to physical strength.

People tend to think that when you workout you are training your body, which is true but what you are really doing is training your mind.

The gym is a controlled chamber where you get to build and refine yourself in an endless cycle.

Character is built and constantly changing, when we are in the presence of others we are training each other's character.

I pull out the strength of a person's character when I am with them and I help them bring that into all aspects of their life. 

Sophisticated resistance training is how you sharpen your mind, connect with and build up the best version of yourself.

 

Sophisticated resistance training is how you command your future.

 

When it comes to training most people and trainers judge the success of a workout based on:

  • How sweaty or tired you got, or how sore and wrecked you were the next day,

​I judge the success of the workout on:

  •   Did we address your health or just performance?? (sleep, hydration, diet)

  •   Did we attempt to remove or improve your biological restrictions?

  •   Did we attempt to remove or improve your psychological restrictions?

  •   Did we expand your limits?

  •   Did you learn something new? 

  •   Do you feel confident you can do this on your own?

  •   Do you feel good at the end of the workout?

  •   Do you feel encouraged to move more?

  •   Do you feel less fragile and more capable?

  •   Do you understand why we do what we do? 

  •   Did we address the energy systems and rate limiting factors?

  •   Did we move in all directions and perform all types of contractions?

  •   Did we progressively overload from previous workouts or weeks?

  •   Did we improve your performance?

  •   Did we adjust based on your life and how they feel that particular day?

  •   Did you laugh?

  •   Did you have fun?

  •   Do you wanna come back?

  •   Did we fail? 

  •   Did we succeed? 

  • And most importantly, did you get RESULTS?

 

So you might be asking, what can I do for you?

Well.

I can't help with a lot of stuff.

I can't teach you a lot of stuff.

But.

I can teach you how to move your joints, 

control your body, 

get stronger, 

lose weight, 

gain muscle, 

how to stretch, 

how to get of pain. 

I can teach you how to use everything in the gym, 

how to be capable, 

resilient.

I can teach you how to work hard.

I can help you feel like you again.

One of my greatest joys in life is helping you set a new standard for yourself & build your inner superhero.

About me

Coaching is more than just coaching and training is more than just training. Training can affect you to your core and because of that a coach is not the only role a true coach takes in their client’s lives. Manipulating someone’s training program or meal plan might help a client reach their goal in a vacuum if everything were perfect but we all know that isn’t the world we live in. I stand next to my clients to help instill core habits from day one to help keep priorities on track and to guide them through their hardest times using the vehicle that training, goal achievement, and self-actualization provides.  

 

I strive to create authentic, meaningful relationships with my clients and view myself as more of a teacher than a trainer. My ultimate goal for you training with me is to not need me. I want you to walk away with the confidence that you can train yourself without the overwhelming struggle required to understand the complex underpinning mechanisms required to make practical decisions. I believe in an antifragile mindset and that two non-negotiables to achieving your goals are effort and persistence. I have a deep curiosity for self improvement, life, the human body, philosophy and psychology which bleeds into the way I coach. I have been obsessed with many diverse modalities and have helped every type of client surpass their goals. I personally think I work best with a certain type of individual more so that someone with a specific goal. I have been told many times that one of my best qualities as a coach is my ability to adapt to best suit my clients and am confident I could help anyone but what I am most passionate about is finding the individuals I am the best fit for. At the end of the day I want to be a resource for you so if you’re ready to set a new standard for your life I am here to save you years worth of struggle and time by creating a purposeful results driven program designed 100% for you!
